Black Bridal Beauty

This weekend for the first time in internet history Black Bridal Love & Creativity went viral!

Stanlo Photography & Bricks Group Media took Audrey Adel’s pre bridal shoot and served us nothing short of Black Royalty.

Bride Navy will break down the elemental points that made this bridal photo & video shoot a part of our phenomenal black pride history.

When watching the first video you are immediately drawn in by the scenic shades of browns setting the tone for the beautiful shots of Audrey elegantly walking alone with a headdress emulating a delicate crown of floral diamantes. Twirling in her custom-made dress; detailing silver embroidery, dripped over a brown nude tone, bust split line with clusters of pearls sewn into the shoulder. The sounds of afro beats pulling you into fairytale elegance mixed with all the feels of African beauty and culture.

Then in a split second, panned back to her bridal army following her steps, with little facial focus. When I saw this shot; I immediately felt the energy of “sisterhood” shining around her in the form of beautiful black bridesmaids of different shades of melanin. This shot alone, is such a necessary statement of community.

All women holding bouquets filled with an array of textures and colours/colors. These colours/colors are reflected in the arrangement of flowers where they walk and are stood

“Toffee Roses: the darkest rust colored rose you see. It looks orange in certain light but it has a deep brown undertone. I used this color to match as close as possible to the bridesmaid dresses.”

- Panache Style

Describes of the many shades used, along with Quicksand Roses, Pampas Grass, Sahara Roses and finally Bleached Italian Ruscus and Bunuy Tails.

Every element of this shoot showcases the creative minds of Black Excellence accompanied by the images of Black Women stood together in solidarity, grace, beauty and above all support which is what truly has made this one of the strongest influential bridal shoots setting the standard for many to follow

Bride Navy Salutes all that made this a monumental moment in our black history.
